Elizabeth Hayes, doyenne of Hayes Garden World, has died

Elizabeth Hayes, who with her late husband Leith transformed an Ambleside nursery with its small cafe into Hayes Garden World, died earlier this month. Her funeral took place last Friday. Read more - members only
