Pat Adams parts with the GCA

It has emerged that Pat Adams, who has been the administrator at the Garden Centre Association for 20 years, left two weeks ago.  She has seen the association through the departure of Gillie Westwood and its move to the HTA offices at Theale.

GCA members were notified in a letter from chairman, Julian Winfield.

Chief executive, Iain Wylie said he would be advertising for a replacement in due course but no decision had been taken on whether the administrator role would remain full time or be more suitable for part-timers.

The photo shows Pat Adams on her Harley-Davidson motorcycle.  She has long been passionate about touring on the iconic machine.
