Julie Clements the owner of Labels n Things has been awarded an MBE As well as being the driving force behind plant labelling. Julie worked tirelessly for victims of domestic violence.
Julie has three passions in life ensuring that gardeners can label their plants, guiding and ensuring that women achieve freedom from abuse.
Her work within refuge has enabled many women to receive help and regain their own lives.
She encouraged women to take up gardening especially in the deprived and ethnic ares of Birmingham donating product and sundries from her company.
Giving women the opportunity to do something for themselves.
