NOVA discusses their 2025 collection
Outdoor living wholesalers, NOVA have unveiled their take on garden furniture trends for summer 2025 and beyond, as well as what you can expect to see in their new ranges.
With the opening of their Experience Centre imminent, NOVA has been discussing their 2025 collection and the trends they have noticed coming to the UK market.
NOVA’s buying team has visited several countries, the most recent being Milan, Italy, to conduct market research and learn more about the materials and trends which are set to be popular in the UK. NOVA designs its furniture in-house with product designer, Charlie Pritchard taking great pride in the details.
“Cushion fabric has become just as important as frame colour,” Charlie Pritchard commented when asked about the new NOVA collections. “Before, consumers didn’t notice the difference in cushion fabric but we’re seeing a change in that, which is why we’ve made it a key detail in many of our new designs.”
He also noted how customers will notice different colours coming through in their designs. “Grey has had its day,” Charlie claimed. “We’re seeing more terracotta’s, reds and greens come through as well as natural pebble stone colours.”
There will also be a mix-up in material choices to be found at NOVA’s Experience Centre with the focus coming away from plastic rattan and being put onto new materials such as rope, aluminium with wood detailing, and mixed materials. “Rope is definitely the current emerging material. It’s a softer material than some of the harsh metals and plastics we see on the market and doesn’t have the dated reputation of traditional rattan,” added Charlie.
Rounding off, Charlie Pritchard mentioned, “Understanding consumer desires, trends and designs that fit with our ethos of the importance of making family memories outdoors, is the only way we can stay true to our core values and bring consumers new designs to add to their garden.”
NOVA is opening its new 44,000 sq. ft. Experience Centre on June 3rd which will showcase their 2025 collections, bringing some of these new materials to the market. You can book a visit to the Experience Centre by visiting www.novaoutdoorliving.co.uk
