With interest in gardening and the grow your own trend showing no signs of slowing down, demand for gardening products is at an all-time high. GARDENA UK have been busy building stocks of their watering and garden tool ranges to record levels.
GARDENA Field Sales Manager, Edward Cantle shares his thoughts on the upcoming season:
“Having recently strengthened our field sales team, we are visiting customers that are happy to see us, while adhering to government guidelines. All other departments are supporting the team from their home office environments, a challenge to set up at first, but one that is now working really well.
In preparation for a strong pre-season, we have increased our storage capacity, including overspill storage, with planned top ups coming into the Doncaster warehouse on regular basis as the season picks up. As a supplier of high quality European made products, we have worked closely with our customers and demand planning team to ensure a smooth store set up this Spring. We are holding a year’s stock on key lines, so are in a great position to support our growing customer base through these challenging times”.
GARDENA UK have also developed some exciting POS and Display concepts across watering and garden tools, extending the offer to include fully seasonal display units. Continued investment in the brand is planned for 2021, with a strong marketing campaign across both digital and print media.
