YPHA unveils new website
YPHA, the voice of the next generation of horticulturists, has a new website to support its membership.
The new site will improve overall functionality and include features such as an interactive map of places to study and a calendar of upcoming events.
There’s a job board covering part time, full time and work experience, plus information on in person events and webinars.
With the membership rapidly approaching 1000 people under the age of 35, YPHA - Young People in Horticulture Association serves as a platform for connecting horticulture enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds and regions.
The association says, “Whether you're a seasoned professional or a newcomer to the field, YPHA welcomes you to join its ever-expanding community and contribute to the future of horticulture.”
Sarah Want, Careers and Opportunities Coordinator and YPHA Committee Member says: “The YPHA has grown incredibly quickly, and organically, and the former website was a great tool for a smaller community, but we wanted to make sure it was fit for purpose and had the capabilities to serve a larger audience. As always, the information on our website will be constantly amended, so we’ve added functions for anyone to submit ideas and information to keep it as relevant as possible.
