UK trees and hedging specialist promotes Nick Hopper to Business Manager

Lincolnshire-based British Hardwood Tree Nursery Limited has promoted Nick Hopper to Business Manager to develop the operational side of the business as well as continuing to streamline and strengthen their procurement and sales capabilities.

The company, fresh from celebrating their 25-year anniversary, remain committed to the specialist supply of trees, hedging plants and planting accessories into the UK forestry, farming and landscaping markets.

Nick joined the leading hedging supplier’s team in 2014 from a sales role within the UK forestry and timber industry and his promotion comes less than a year after joining the 10-strong team at British Hardwood Trees.

Initially focusing on building new partnerships and maintaining and developing existing relationships within their supply network, Nick’s role has been extended to take on board a broader operational perspective.

Nick spoke of his appointment and is “excited and keen to take on this prominent position within a company at the forefront of its field.”  He continued “Taking on the operational side of the business, I can explore a broader reach of strategies to improve our processes for the ultimate benefit of our UK customer base.”
