Stuart Lowen to leave Ball Colegrave

Stuart Lowen, the well-known Marketing Manager at Ball Colegrave in Oxfordshire, has decided to retire in April, after putting in 37 years at the business.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Mr Lowen joined Ball Colegrave from a background in tomato growing and nursery sales, becoming Trials Assistant in 1987. A steady rise through the company led to his promotion as Marketing Manager in 1999.

In his time as Marketing Manager, Stuart coordinated the RHS National Flower Bed Competition and the National Schools Competition with Peter Seabrook. He’s also been a regular speaker at horticultural colleges and conferences around the world. He currently sits on the RHS Tender Ornamental Expert Group, Floral Fantasia Committee and is a Trustee for the Colegrave Seabrook Foundation.
