Six packer awards for two Bransford Webbs apprentices

Emmeline Yourston and Samantha Oleksy, from The Bransford Webbs Plant Company, have both been awarded six packer places at this year’s IPPS conference taking place in Guildford, Surrey.

The six packer award is open to anyone who is ‘relatively new’ to working in commercial horticulture or currently studying to enter the industry. Both Emmeline and Samantha submitted very good applications and overcame strong competition from both UK and Europe, earning them both well-deserved places at this year’s conference.

The conference takes place from Wednesday 9th to Friday 11th October 2024, with the theme ‘Growing a Greener Future’ and will comprise of talks covering a range of topics and an excellent itinerary of visits, including Hillier’s Nursery and RHS Wisley Gardens.
