New Gardman Team for B&Q
Gardman has announced the appointments of a new Senior National Accounts Manager and of a new role, a Category Project Manager, for B&Q.
Jon Watson, who was previously National Accounts Manager at Westland Horticulture for six years and Helen Edis, who was previously National Accounts Manager at Intergreen, part of the Dutch Flower Group, will be responsible for the delivery of the existing business at B&Q as well as developing new sales opportunities.
Jon Watson, the new Senior National Accounts Manager, said, “I’m looking forward to working with the B&Q team, ensuring that we provide excellent service as well as innovative products and fantastic promotions.”
Helen Edis, as the Category Project Manager, will be responsible for planning and co-ordinating all the processes required for the B&Q account. “My aim is to streamline and simplify the systems to make sure that our service to B&Q runs smoothly.”
Gardman Director Phil Tushingham, comments, “It goes without saying that our aim is to provide an all round top quality service to all our retail customers but as B&Q is the biggest retailer in the UK, it means that we need a dedicated team to look after the business.”
