Mr Fothergill's - Co-sponsors of the International Garden Centre Congress

The International Garden Centre Congress, which was held in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia from 6 to 11 October 2013, was co-sponsored by Mr Fothergill's. Victoria is appropriately known as the garden state.

The major British seed company is also the leading garden seed brand in Australia. The Congress was attended by 140 delegates from garden centres in Europe, the USA, Japan, Canada and Australia itself.

Mr Fothergill's joint-managing directors Dave Carey and John Fothergill accompanied 24 representatives from UK garden centres to the event. John, who is responsible for the company's export sales, said he welcomed the opportunity to meet garden centre owners from around the world and to get a global perspective on the garden trade.
