John Woods Nurseries announces appointment of non-executive Chairman

John Woods Nurseries has announced the appointment of Tim Cooper Jones as non-executive chairman. Tim’s appointment provides valuable insight into the retail and consumer markets, bringing with him 30 years of Board experience in the FMCG and fresh produce sectors within Birds Eye Walls and other parts of Unilever; Geo. Adams & Sons; QV Foods; William Jackson Food Group and J F Edwards (Smithfield).

Tim, who was awarded an OBE for services to the food industry, has extensive UK and international experience of financial management, customer relations, IT, purchasing and planning gained across both branded and retailer own label consumer product businesses.
