Gardena invests in field sales team to support growing UK sales

As demand for Gardening products continues to grow, GARDENA are strengthening the sales team to support their expanding customer base. Already supported nationally with a team of Sales Agents, the team has expanded to accommodate a second sales rep, Graham Hughes, who will support Mark Corrigan who joined in 2019. Mark, who is based in Northwich, will now look to represent GARDENA in the North of England, Cheshire to Hadrian’s wall. Mark’s background in Garden Centre retail has helped him establish some solid relationships.

Mark comments “I feel proud to work for a brand that has such great history and recognition in the gardening industry. I am excited about the future for GARDENA, and seeing us gain traction in the UK market really does show me that like me, others believe that Gardena stands for a top quality product.”

Graham Hughes, who is based in Nottingham, joined the team in November 2020, and will be responsible for the East and West Midlands areas. Graham’s background started in Horticulture as a Grower, before moving into retail in Garden Centres, where he worked across a number of categories and developed relationships with many manufacturing suppliers. After 10 years in retail he moved into field sales as an Area Sales Manager, where he has spent the past 7 years working with some major brands and products across the gardening categories.

Graham shares his thoughts on joining the GARDENA team. “Working for Husqvarna is a great opportunity and I’m really excited to be part of such an innovative company and to be joining the Gardena team, helping to grow this superb brand in the UK market.”
