Briers strengthens supply chain with expanded sales team

Fashion-led garden clothing and giftware company Briers has further increased investment in its sales management team, with new team members added following on from appointments made throughout the year to strengthen the supply chain.  The expansion of Briers’ workforce comes as the company experiences an increase in demand and expanded worldwide distribution.

At the beginning of the season Briers appointed Charlotte Prentice from Suttons as National Sales Manager, with Chris Keightley as International Sales Manager.  In the last twelve months the company also brought in Tahnee Miles as Head of Supply Chain and Collette Pope as Project Manager.

Emma Johnson joined as Junior Sales Manager to add further support, and the company has been busy recruiting throughout the season – most recently appointing Elke Beuvink from Kaemingk and Tara Truman from the Coleman Company and formerly Sinclair.

The latest addition to the Briers sales force, Tara Truman, said: “I am delighted to be joining Jackie and the team at Briers as key account manager – there are definitely exciting times ahead.”

Briers CEO Jackie Eades added: “I am so happy with my sales team, they are all absolutely the right fit for Briers and to have the right team in place at such a crucial time is a huge relief!  Since our double GIMA Awards win we have not stopped to rest – we’ve added more experience to the sales team and throughout the supply chain.  As we warm up for Glee we are now in the best place possible to deal with increased demand, last minute and new season orders.”
