What’s in Tuesday’s Love Your Garden?
Love Your Garden returned for a second series last week and was watched by an audience of 3.6m. This was well ahead of Friday's BBC Gardener’s World that attracted 2.2m viewers.
The second in the series of 6 will be screened tomorrow (Tuesday 3rd July) at 8.00pm.
The programme has a very different format to last year. This time Alan Titchmarsh is joined by David Domoney in a show that is a throw back to Groundforce that ran between 1997 and 2005.
Each programme features people in difficult circumstances and shows the team building a garden that can help them therapeutically and spiritually. This week Gardenforum understands that the focus is on a family with two disabled children.
As last year, Gardenforum is working with GIMA and the programme makers, Spun Gold, to give garden centres early notice of the plants and products to be featured. This gives the opportunity to create displays to help gardeners follow up on ideas inspired by show.
