Notcutts appoints new Marketing and Customer Experience Director

Company: Notcutts

Notcutts has announced the appointment of Jane Gray as its new Marketing and Customer Experience Director. Jane previously held the position of Marketing Manager at Notcutts and, with this appointment, steps up to join the company’s Executive Leadership Team.

Prior to joining Notcutts in 2018, Jane worked with a number of other organisations in marketing, PR and commercial positions.

These included roles working as Marketing and Publicity Director for Warner Bros. on brands such as the television show ‘Friends’ and film franchise ‘Harry Potter’; and as Marketing Executive for Suffolk Marine Safety developing digital and non-digital sales and marketing strategies. Jane has also previously set up and run a luxury retail florist in Suffolk.

Commenting on her appointment, Gray said: “I’m delighted to take up this new role and lead this next important phase of Notcutts marketing and customer experience strategy. The Notcutts brand is one I’ve worked with for some time now and I’m looking forward to leading its onward development and the new opportunities ahead. As a family-owned business, Notcutts has wonderful values and a culture that I’m so pleased to be a part of.”

“This is a particularly exciting time for the business with new, wider marketing opportunities presented through our new CRM system. Notcutts made the switch to a predominantly digital marketing focus in 2020 and our investment in this new CRM platform will support both a greater understanding of customer buying patterns and more targeted customer experiences,” said Gray. “We also intend to push on further with our strategy of widening our reach to new audiences through social media platforms and online communities.” she added.

Commenting on this new appointment, Nick Burrows, CEO, said: “Jane brings a wealth of experience and leadership qualities to this role, and I am delighted to have been able to make this internal appointment. Personal and professional development of our colleagues is an important part of our company culture at Notcutts."
