Supporters out in force to tackle the 2023 London Landmarks Half Marathon

Company: Greenfingers

The London Landmarks Half Marathon is now just a few months away (2nd April 2023) with 11 runners from across the garden retail sector and beyond taking part on behalf of the Greenfingers Charity.

Taking part in next year’s race will be Hammerlin’s Jason Richardson, Ali Adigun and Kate Sparling from corporate supporters, Clarins, Kyla Sansbury, Greenfingers Finance and Office Administrator, plus Alison Kirk, Heidi Towse and Katie Boyd from STV. Woodlodge will also see a team of four tackle the race together, made up of Neil Blake, Graham Pack, Simon Neale and Richard Newton.

Together these eleven runners will each look to complete the 13-mile route whilst helping to raise much needed funds for Greenfingers. All monies raised will allow the charity to create even more therapeutic garden spaces at children’s hospices across the country.

Entry to the London Landmarks Half Marathon is free, though the Greenfingers fundraising team ask that a minimum fundraising target of £500 is set. If there are other intrepid runner that would like to support the Greenfingers Charity at this year’s LLHM event, please do reach out to the team as additional spots can be secured if required.  To register your interest email Linda Petrons, Greenfingers Director of Fundraising & Communications via linda@greenfingerscharity.org.uk.

About the London Landmarks Half Marathon

Launched in 2014, the London Landmarks Half Marathon has been set up to shine a spotlight on not just London’s iconic landmarks, but also its quirky hidden gems. The route - which starts at Nelson’s Column before taking in such landmarks as London Eye, Big Ben, Downing Street, the world’s smallest police station, the largest grasshopper, Guy Fawkes house and so much more – travels through the heart of Westminster and London City, whilst celebrating the rich heritage and culture that shapes our nation’s capital.

To keep runners motivated, the route will also be adorned with musical performances, DJs, dancers and themed cheer stations, including a floral themed Greenfingers one!  All roads will remain closed for the duration of the race.
