Hillier unveils exclusive 2025 ‘Crown of Christmas’ Poinsettia

Company: Hillier

Hillier Garden Centres has revealed an exciting botanical highlight for Christmas 2025 with the introduction of an exclusive new poinsettia variety, aptly named ‘Crown of Christmas’. With its refined pink bracts and elegant festive presence, the plant offers a fresh seasonal alternative to the traditional red varieties that dominate the winter market.

This limited-edition poinsettia is more than a decorative centrepiece. Hillier has committed to donating £2 from every sale to The King’s Foundation, aligning the launch with its long-standing ethos of supporting community and environmental initiatives. The partnership gives customers the chance to contribute to meaningful work simply by choosing a standout plant for their home.

Founded by His Majesty King Charles III, The King’s Foundation champions sustainable living, placemaking and community resilience. Its programmes span education, craft skills, and regeneration projects that bring people together and enable local environments to flourish. Hillier’s support adds horticultural weight to the charity’s mission at a time when communities increasingly recognise the value of greener living.

Emma Fell, Hillier’s Head of Horticulture, described the new variety as both a distinctive festive plant and a vehicle for positive impact. Her message reinforces the longstanding connection between gardening, wellbeing and stewardship of the natural world—values central to Hillier and mirrored in the Foundation’s work.

The ‘Crown of Christmas’ poinsettia will be offered exclusively through Hillier Garden Centres from November 2025, creating a sense of rarity that is likely to appeal to collectors, plant enthusiasts and customers seeking a thoughtful seasonal gift.

By pairing horticultural innovation with charitable purpose, Hillier has crafted a launch that reflects the true spirit of the season: beauty, generosity and a commitment to nurturing both people and place.
