Two Somerset business events unite for big opportunity

Wednesday 25 February 2026 will be a landmark day for Somerset’s business community, as two major industry events run in tandem at the Bath & West Showground, offering exceptional value and networking opportunities across the food, drink and tourism sectors.

The Source Roadshow, Somerset’s new food and drink trade show, will bring together more than 100 exhibitors from local, regional and national producers. Designed for hospitality, retail and tourism businesses, the event offers a chance to explore new products, discover fresh ideas and build relationships with suppliers of high-quality food and drink brands.

Running alongside the trade show, Visit Somerset will host its Annual General Meeting and Conference under the theme “Building and Connecting.” Sponsored by Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking and the Source Roadshow, the conference will feature a strong speaker lineup including Terry Stevens, George Combe, Strode College, the Campaign for the Protection of Rural England and Zen Chartered Accountants, with further speakers to be announced.

The dual events provide attendees with insights into both the visitor economy and the latest food and drink innovations. Visit Somerset members can attend the AGM free of charge, while non-members are welcome for a small fee. Meanwhile, entry to the Source Roadshow is free with registration.

Organisers say the partnership between the two events is designed to maximise the value for local businesses. Mike Anderson, MD of the Source Roadshow, emphasises the opportunity to learn, network and grow, while Visit Somerset Chair Giles Adams highlights the importance of strengthening connections and supporting businesses during challenging times.

With tourism updates, supplier showcases and cross-sector networking all under one roof, 25 February 2026 promises to be a standout date for Somerset’s business landscape. Businesses are encouraged to register early, plan their visit to the Source Roadshow and secure their place at the Visit Somerset AGM.
