RHS Garden Hyde Hall Flower Show
The RHS Garden Hyde Hall Flower Show returns from Wednesday 2 to Sunday 6 August, bringing five days of floral fun to the garden near Chelmsford, Essex. Showcasing over 30 specialist nurseries and gardening suppliers, including many RHS Chelsea gold medal winners, alongside the ever-popular Craft in Focus marquee, showgoers can enjoy shopping for top quality plants, garden essentials and gifts in the spectacular surroundings of RHS Hyde Hall in high summer.
The Potting Shed Garden Theatre will return this year with a range of horticultural and cookery talks and demos, hosted by garden writer and broadcaster Martin Fish, where visitors will have the opportunity to put their questions to the expert RHS panel. Around the show, expert growers and the RHS Advisory team are on hand to share their knowledge on a host of gardening queries, alongside inspirational displays filling the show with summer colour.
Also returning are Essex Police, who will be providing helpful hints and tips on how to make homes and gardens more secure with clever security features and horticultural solutions.
Elsewhere, the garden is ready to be explored in its full summer glory, with seasonal highlights including the iconic Dry Garden at its spectacular peak, the colour-themed herbaceous borders bursting with blooms, and vibrant seasonal displays in the Floral Fantasia garden.
A mouth-watering array of food and drink will be on offer from outlets around the show site, including a number of street food stands, as well as the Gardener’s Rest restaurant, Thatched Barn and Clover Café. Additionally there will be a pop-up barbecue in the show ground, while visitors can also enjoy live music at two locations across the site.
Visitors can also take advantage of a special show package on Wednesday 2 August, including a guided garden tour with RHS Hyde Hall’s garden team, a cooked breakfast and early bird entry to the show one hour before it opens to the general public.
Entry to the RHS Garden Hyde Hall Flower Show is included with normal garden admission, which is free for RHS members. Non-members can redeem their admission against the cost of membership by joining at the show. For more information and to book, please visit: www.rhs.org.uk/hydehallflowershow
