Aymet Alcahuaman Torres, Sales Manager from Sumaq Qara said at the September 24 show, ‘’We’ve had a great show. We’ve made some really great contacts with some big companies and closed some orders! We’ve met retailers and stores such as TK Maxx, so it’s been great.”

UK exhibitors Clearance Giant also had a great show in September and will return for February. Yusuf Shakir, Sales Representative said, “We’ve loved the show. Big businesses now know who we are, what we do and what products we deal with, so, in total it’s been fantastic. We’ve got new customers as well, and met some really big companies, including B&M and Amazon sellers and met some of the most influential online sellers in this space. In February we’ve already got a bigger stand and more products, so we can’t wait.’’

Connecting manufacturers with retailers and brands and the only international sourcing platform of its kind, Source Home & Gift unites global manufacturers who pride themselves on responsible manufacturing and sustainable production, with key retailers, brands, and contractors who care about how great products.

Jo Spolton, Co-Founder and CEO of Rumage, a company which provides a fast and efficient aggregation of the second-hand sector highlighted the importance of seeing where and how new products are being made and sourced. “We all have a role to play in improving how we consume. I think it’s really good to see the other side of sustainable consumption which is ethical and sustainably sourced new items. It’s been really good to come and chat to some of the stallholders and find out where they source their materials or their products from. It’s inspiring to see so many different businesses that are trying to do the right thing and being successful at it.”
