Gardeners' World Autumn Fair returns to Audley End
The BBC Gardeners' World Autumn Fair returns to Audley End House and Gardens, Saffron Walden, from 11-13 September, bringing together plants, expert advice, show gardens, shopping and seasonal inspiration.
The annual event will once again feature a line-up of well-known gardening presenters, with Frances Tophill, Adam Frost, Sue Kent and Ashley Edwards sharing practical tips on preparing gardens for the months ahead.
Visitors will be able to explore three Showcase Gardens, including Pip Probert's family-friendly Little Explorers Garden, Daisy Fenton's wildlife-inspired For the Love of Birds and the Association of Professional Landscapers' innovative Balcony Garden.
The APL garden will also provide valuable experience for two landscaping apprentices, who will work alongside industry professionals during the build while members offer free design advice to visitors.
The BBC Gardeners' World Make a Metre Matter Border, designed by De-Graft Mensah and Lucy Chamberlain, will encourage visitors to create wildlife-friendly spaces that support biodiversity, whatever the size of their garden.
Beautiful Borders, themed Once Upon a Time, will demonstrate creative planting ideas for compact spaces, with designs inspired by childhood memories, wildlife, community and personal stories.
New for 2026 is a dedicated Houseplants Area, while Beth Chatto's Plants & Gardens and the National Allotment Society will showcase sustainable planting ideas, edible gardening and climate-resilient growing.
Visitors can also join guided tours of Audley End's Organic Kitchen Garden, browse specialist nurseries and retailers, and take part in workshops including dried wreath making, flower crowns and textile crafts in partnership with Knit + Stitch.
The In Conversation Stage will host interviews with leading gardening personalities, while the Autumn Fair Bookshop will feature the latest gardening titles and book signings with BBC Gardeners' World presenters.
Food and drink are also a major attraction, with tasting sessions, artisan producers, wild food demonstrations, English sparkling wine, craft gin experiences and traditional afternoon tea available throughout the event.

Tickets include entry to Audley End House, its formal gardens, Organic Kitchen Garden and parkland, making the Autumn Fair a full day out for gardening enthusiasts, families and visitors looking for seasonal inspiration.
