IGCA 2026 in Munich reaches 80% capacity

Company: IGCA

The International Garden Centre Congress (IGCA) 2026 is gathering significant global momentum, with registrations already reaching around 80% capacity.

More than 200 delegates from 15 nations have confirmed their participation for the event, which takes place in Munich from 16–22 August 2026.

Hosted by the German Garden Centre Association (VDG), the congress is attracting strong early interest, reflecting renewed appetite for international dialogue and collaboration among independent garden centre operators. According to VDG president Martina Mensing‑Meckelburg, the response highlights the industry’s commitment to hands‑on learning and peer‑to‑peer exchange.

The programme includes curated store tours in and around Munich, structured business discussions and extensive networking opportunities designed specifically for independent garden centre owners and senior managers.

An optional Pre‑Tour, beginning in Frankfurt and ending at the official congress opening in Munich, offers additional site visits and market insights. Places for the Pre‑Tour are limited and available on a first‑come, first‑served basis.

Registration for IGCA 2026 remains open, with organisers encouraging early sign‑up as remaining places begin to tighten.
