GIMA Buyer Connect boosts Dobbies supplier engagement

GIMA has hailed its latest Buyer Connect event with Dobbies Garden Centres as a strong success.
Held at Dobbies’ Milton Keynes site, the event brought together more than 40 suppliers for a full day of one-to-one meetings with the retailer’s commercial buying team.
Designed to encourage meaningful, commercially focused conversations, the format gave suppliers the opportunity to present new ideas, showcase innovation and explore future ranging opportunities.
Discussions covered new product development, category expansion and emerging consumer trends, reflecting Dobbies’ ongoing focus on keeping its offer fresh and relevant.
Key decision-makers in attendance included Andy Hannan, alongside senior trading and buying team members, offering direct access to those shaping the retailer’s ranges.
Dobbies also used the event to share insight into its strategy and approach to supplier collaboration, highlighting the importance of strong partnerships in driving growth.
