The World BioProtection Forum (WBF) is currently accepting nominations for the next President, Vice President, and Treasurer positions, with the current leadership nearing the end of their tenure. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about biocontrol and sustainable agriculture to take on leadership roles and make a meaningful impact on the global stage. If you believe your experience and passion for agricultural biologicals can help shape the future of sustainable farming, we would love to hear from you.

Position Overview:

  • President: As the President, you will lead WBF activities, providing strategic guidance to ensure the organization delivers the best value and service to its members. You will represent WBF at major industry events and collaborate closely with other Board Members and the WBF Management Team to shape the future of the AgBio sector.
  • Vice President: In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with the President, offering insights, particularly from the academic community, to drive forward WBF’s initiatives. You will also help coordinate knowledge-sharing and research opportunities within the WBF network.
  • Treasurer: As Treasurer, you will ensure the smooth financial operation of the WBF. You will help develop a sound fiscal strategy to support the organization’s goals, oversee budget planning, and ensure transparent financial reporting.

Term and Commitment

The tenure for each role is two years, from January 2025 to December 2026. While these positions are honorary, Board Members are expected to attend quarterly WBF Advisory Board Meetings (via Zoom or in person) and participate in key WBF events, both in-person and virtual. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your leadership experience and expand your professional network while contributing to the future of biocontrol.
