STIGA appoints a new UK managing director

STIGA, a leading European manufacturer of garden machinery, has confirmed its attendance at GroundsFest 2025, the UK’s premier B2B trade show for the grounds management and landscaping industry.
The announcement coincides with the appointment of James Gordon as the company’s new UK Managing Director, effective 15 September 2025. He will be based at STIGA’s new UK office in Stansted.
Mr. Gordon brings a distinguished career in senior leadership across consumer and B2B sectors, with extensive international experience in the UK, Australia, Asia, and the USA. He has held key positions at Kärcher, Dyson, and Colgate Palmolive, driving growth and operational efficiency.
"We are thrilled to have James join the STIGA team," said Gregory Levacher, Group SVP of Sales. "His leadership and deep understanding of our industry will be a significant asset as we focus on growing and strengthening our market position in the UK."
At GroundsFest, STIGA will highlight its commitment to innovation and sustainable gardening, offering visitors a first look at new developments, including its expanding electric range, autonomous robotic mowers, and battery-powered solutions. Many of these will feature the ePowerPro battery system, officially launching in 2026.
For the first time, STIGA is also moving into the professional market, building on over 90 years of expertise. At stand OSA790, visitors can see live demonstrations of the Large Format Robot, the all-electric STIGA ePark Pro front mower, and the new ePowerBattery Pro, as well as enter prize contests and meet the STIGA management team.
