Steve Guy rejoins Kingfisher

Steve Guy, buying director at Dobbies Garden Centres until earlier this year, has rejoined Kingfisher as head of outdoor sales.

Steve worked at B&Q, a subsidiary of Kingfisher, from 1999 to 2013 rising from assistant buyer to category trading manager. He joins Tim Clapp who is head of range - horticulture and garden care.

He left B&Q to join the Tesco owned Dobbies as head of buying for horticulture and garden, becoming a director in 2015.  He left Dobbies following the regime change when Nicholas Marshall took over as CEO earlier this year.

Kingfisher has nearly 1,200 stores in 10 countries.  Screwfix is part of the same group.

Kingfisher is currently focussed on One Kingfisher, a 5 year project to unify the offer across all subsidiaries with the same products, presented everywhere in the same way, 5 year project to unify the offer across all subsidiaries ‘with the same products, presented everywhere in the same way.
