Manfred Roscher awarded 2026 BOA Scholarship
The British Ornamentals Association (BOA), in partnership with the Colegrave Seabrook Foundation, has awarded the 2026 BOA / Peter Seabrook Scholarship to Manfred Roscher.
The scholarship recognises emerging talent in ornamental horticulture and supports individuals committed to long-term careers in the sector.
Manfred is currently completing a Crop Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship at Pershore College, alongside his role at Hillier Nurseries, where he is gaining hands-on production experience.
Originally from South Africa, he has demonstrated strong commitment, enthusiasm and clear ambition to progress within the industry.
The award will support his professional development through BOA activities, technical groups and industry events, alongside a one-year student membership.
Named in honour of Peter Seabrook, the scholarship continues his legacy of supporting the next generation of horticultural talent.
