Leading nursery and retail grower gains fresh perspective with new director

Marcel joins the management team in September 2013 from Wyevale Nurseries, where he was operations director, a role he has successfully developed over the past 6 years. Marcel brings with him a multitude of different operational and management skills as well as many years experience and a broad network of contacts with the UK and European horticultural fraternity. 

With Marcel on board, the company are keen to push forward in all three sectors of their business – amenity supply, garden centres and satisfying local cash and carry demand from their head office in Lathom, Lancashire.

Chairman and representing the fourth generation of the Mahoods family, Marc Mahood, said of the appointment: “We are immensely pleased to have Marcel on board and are eager to tap into his commercial and operational knowledge across the retail and amenity sectors.”
