Katie Blake appoints David Gilbey
Katie Blake, the outdoor furniture supplier, has announced the appointment of David Gilbey to its team.
David joins the business from Swift Imports, where he was a long-standing and well-known figure within the garden retail sector.
He takes over from Martin Hughes, who has stepped down from the role.
The company said David’s deep knowledge of the market and strong industry relationships make him a valuable addition to its sales operation.
After completing product training, David will be working closely with the existing sales team and will be visiting customers across the sector.
Katie Blake said it was a pleasure to welcome such a recognisable and experienced figure in the industry, adding that he is already proving to be a strong fit with the team.
David will be focused on reconnecting with customers and developing new and existing business relationships.
