James Worby Agencies wins Garland ‘Sales Agent of the Year’ Award
Garland Products’ sales agent for the South-east of the UK, James Worby Agencies, has won the 2026 ‘Sales Agent of the Year’ award. The yearly sales points for James Worby matched those of Tony Robson (North-west region) but James took the award after a count-back on the final month’s sales. It is the second time that James and his team have received the award, having previously won in 2021.
Third place went Tim Stevenson & the Stevenson Agencies in Ireland, who beat out Adam Banks (South-west region) on count back, as again they both also came joint third on points.
This year’s annual sales conference on 20th and 21st August was held at Garland’s new distribution centre, which houses a new showroom and conference room, and is based near the company’s factory in Kingswinford.
Garland’s sales director, Mark Dedman commented:” The conference provided the opportunity for us to acquaint our team with the plans for Glee 2026 (19D40-E41) and the 45 new products being launched for the 2027 season. Among the new products being displayed alongside our full range of tried and tested items at this year’s show will be additions to our propagation ranges, buckle tree ties, professional hanging baskets, brooms, brushes and wall pot holders. Our nationwide team of sales agents will be part of our exhibition customer support staff at Glee.”
