J. Parker’s celebrates women in horticulture

J. Parker's hosted a special “Women in Horticulture” morning at Daisy Nook Garden Centre on Tuesday 7th April, bringing together the local horticultural community for an inspiring event.

The event featured contributions from Victoria Holden of Northern Lily, Helen Waddington of Perennial, and Nina Agnew from the Royal Horticultural Society, each sharing their personal career journeys and insights.
Speakers highlighted both the opportunities and challenges within the sector, offering practical advice and encouragement to those exploring horticultural careers or seeking to progress within the industry.
The morning also provided valuable networking opportunities, helping to strengthen community ties and foster collaboration across the region’s horticultural sector.
