Henil Vashi named AIPH Young International Grower of the Year 2026
Henil Vashi, Horticultural Advisor at Robin Tacchi Plants in the UK, has been awarded the Young International Grower of the Year (YIGOTY) title at the AIPH International Grower of the Year Awards 2026, held in Essen, Germany.
The Young IGOTY category celebrates emerging leaders in ornamentals production, with entrants participating through Jungle Talks’ Pro Manager Mastercourse.
At Robin Tacchi Plants, Henil Vashi oversees large-scale ornamental plant production, managing over one million plants annually. Their work focuses on crop production, propagation, and integrated pest management, with a strong commitment to sustainability. Notably, Henil Vashi led the introduction of peat-reduced and peat-free substrates, achieving a 30% reduction in peat use while enhancing crop quality.

His international perspective and innovative mindset show a clear understanding of where our industry is heading.”
