Gardena continues to expand its sales team to support growth
After increasing demand GARDENA UK is expanding the sales team to support growth within the garden centre industry.
With a nationally supported team of sales agents and reps, the team has expanded to accommodate a third sales representative, Tom Lay, based in Ferndown, Dorset.
Coming from a Garden Centre background, and with an existing knowledge of the GARDENA brand, Tom has spent his career working within large garden centres in the retail sector. Previous to his role with GARDENA, Tom spent the last year as a sundries manager at the Broomhill branch of Stewart’s Garden Centres .
Tom will join fellow GARDENA Sales Representatives Mark Corrigan and Graham Hughes. Graham joined the team in 2020 and represents the East and West Midlands area. Mark joined the team in 2019 and represents the North of England.
Tom also joins Key Account Manager, Gary Fisher as part the GARDENA UK Sales team. Gary, looks after group activity across the UK, working closely with larger garden centres.

2021 was a record year for Gardena and Tom joins us as we look to pull in the last preseason orders from our growing customer base. Tom’s GC retail experience puts him in a great position, he has sold the GARDENA range for several years and fully appreciates our quality and extensive offer.
Tom shares his thoughts on joining the GARDENA team, he said: “This is a really exciting time to be joining GARDENA when we are continuing to grow the brand across the UK.
“Having been associated with Gardena in my previous role, I am confident of the quality products and I have an in depth understanding and knowledge, so we can build and develop the Brand in the South throughout 2022.”
