Colin Stephens join BHETA’s DIY & Garden Committee
Colin Stephens, Managing Director of Evergreen Garden Care for UK and Ireland, has joined BHETA’s DIY Committee. Evergreen is one of the leading manufacturers of branded garden care products and included household brands such as Miracle Gro, Round up, Levington and Weedol in its portfolio.
Colin has been in this role for three years, driving significant growth for Evergreen. He has overseen Evergreen’s transition to peat-free growing media, including the acquisition of Greener Garden Company assets to support this journey.
Before joining Evergreen Garden Care, Colin held leadership roles in several branded food businesses, including Hovis, Whitworths and Genius Gluten Free. Colin lives in Ascot with his wife and two children. He is a keen golfer and a long-suffering Tottenham Hotspur fan.
The BHETA DIY Committee represents the interests of the association’s DIY and garden members and ensures that insights, challenges, and opportunities from across the sector are shared and considered. Colin’s expertise in brand strategy, sustainable innovation, and commercial growth will help the committee continue supporting and advocating for members in the DIY and garden market.
