Bulrush strengthens sales team with new regional manager
As part of its ongoing investment plan, leading substrate producer Bulrush Horticulture has strengthened its sales team with the appointment of Darren Selvey as Sales Manager for the Midlands.
Darren brings extensive industry experience to the role, with a career spanning 37 years. He began as a grower at RA Meredith Nurseries before moving into sales 25 years ago. Most recently, he spent three-and-a-half years at Newey Ltd – one of Bulrush’s largest customers – working within its wholesale team and driving growth among shrub liner and perennial plug customers.
Darren joins Bulrush on 17th November and will report to Sales Director Alex Julien. He will work closely with the wider sales team, including Michel Clarricoats and Rob Aveyard.
This latest appointment forms part of a broader programme of developments at Bulrush and aligns with the company’s long-term growth strategy, which has seen significant behind-the-scenes investment over the past two years.
With demand for peat-free products continuing to rise, Bulrush has focused on increasing capacity and securing a reliable supply of high-quality materials. Alongside this, the company has invested in expanding its workforce – underlining its commitment to growers by providing next-level service, exceptional products and the flexibility to help customers find the best solutions for their business.
