Company: Boningale Nurseries
  • ucy Bravington
  • Andrew Dunkley

Midlands-based Boningale Nurseries has added two new members to its sales team in order to facilitate the company’s growth and expansion plans in the North and South.

The first member to join the sales team is Lucy Bravington, who has worked in the landscape industry for the last nine years, starting out as a designer and specialising more recently in hard landscaping materials as part of her sales manager role at Hardscape Products Ltd.  At Boningale, Lucy will be responsible for managing existing customers and developing new business opportunities in the South of the country.

Second is Andrew Dunkley who brings a wealth of horticultural experience and knowledge to the company. Andrew, who joins Boningale from the Horticultural Trades Association, will account manage Boningale’s customers in the North, while using his experience to pro-actively look for new opportunities.

Frank Sandford, Sales Director at Boningale Nurseries, one of the leading suppliers to the British landscaping industry, said the appointment of Andrew and Lucy represents a first for the company as they will both be working remotely in their respective geographical regions.

He said: “Boningale as a company has expanded rapidly in recent years, and in order to find the best ‘local’ talent to serve our growing list of customers in the North and South, we have reached further afield this time. Strategically, this required providing remote working arrangements to the best people, with the right experience and talent, living and working in our target areas.”

“Both Andrew and Lucy are highly skilled horticultural sales people and by working ‘locally’, we believe this will be hugely beneficial to our customers - and for us as an ambitious company.  We look forward to welcoming them to the Boningale family in August,” added Frank.
