Welsh garden centres to re-open on Monday

First Minister, Mark Drakefield, has announced that Welsh garden centres can re-open on Monday provided they can ensure the two metre social distancing rule.

This limited relaxation of the Coronavirus lockdown in Wales will also allow people to exercise outside more than once a day as long as it is from home.

The rest of the Coronavirus restrictions in Wales will stay in place for another 3 weeks.

Will English Garden Centres follow?

Drakefield said that he wanted to "move in step with the other nations of the United Kingdom". With the British Prime Minister due to speak on Sunday about the plan ahead and limited easing of restrictions, UK garden centre will be entitled to expect a similar permission to open their doors again to customers next week.
