GCA Unveils 2026 Conference theme as early bird bookings open

Company: GCA

The Garden Centre Association (GCA) has revealed the theme for its 2026 annual conference — Growing a Better Future — focusing on profitability, sustainability and innovation. The event takes place at Carden Park Hotel, Chester, from January 25–28, 2026.

GCA Chairman Elect Ben Harrison and CEO Peter Burks are organising the event and have launched early bird booking one year in advance. Members booking in July 2025 receive 10% off, with additional discounts available to Young People in Horticulture Association (YPHA) members.

Delegates can expect two celebrity keynote speakers, announced in September, alongside a refreshed social programme. Monday night will feature an Indian dining experience from a local restaurant, and the popular band Fake Tan returns for entertainment.

A new fancy dress theme — Food from Around the World — gives attendees plenty of time to plan their outfits. Organisers hope the early reveal will boost creativity and engagement.

Carden Park Hotel offers a recently refurbished venue with exclusive use for GCA delegates, including optional access to its spa facilities.

Conference bookings and sponsorship opportunities are now live at www.gca.org.uk and gca.digitickets.co.uk, or contact peter@gca.org.uk for details.
