Ed Byrne to host HTA Conference 2026
The Horticultural Trades Association has announced Ed Byrne as evening host and after-dinner speaker for Horticulture, The Conference 2026.
The event will take place on 24 September 2026 at the Barbican Centre, one of the industry’s flagship annual gatherings.
Byrne will also host the Grower of the Year Awards, celebrating excellence and innovation across UK environmental horticulture.
Before his comedy career, Byrne studied horticulture in Glasgow, giving him a natural connection to the sector.
He is known for his observational humour and engaging style, and is expected to bring both to the conference’s evening programme.
The annual event brings together professionals from across the horticulture industry for a day of insight, strategy and networking.
HTA Chief Executive Fran Barnes said Byrne’s humour and stage presence make him an ideal fit for one of the conference’s standout moments.
