Caledonian Tree Company wins King’s Award for Enterprise
The Caledonian Tree Company, developer of the Air-Pot® system, has been awarded a King’s Award for Enterprise for international trade.
The Edinburgh-based company has exported its patented growing system to more than 40 countries over 36 years, building a global presence with a small team.
Founded in 1990 by Jamie Single and Suzie Single, the business has focused on innovation in plant container design.
Its Air-Pot® system, made from recycled materials, is designed to improve root structure, plant health and sustainable growing practices.
The company’s products are used by growers, nurseries, research institutions and home gardeners worldwide.
The award, approved by King Charles III, recognises outstanding achievement in international trade and allows use of the official emblem for five years.
