Treat your mask like underwear

Stewarts garden centres are using humour to help underline the message that everyone will be wearing masks.

Martin Stewart says, “it’s our attempt to diffuse the frustration of difficult customers who don’t think they need to abide by the new rules!

“Everyone will be wearing a face mask. As far as we are concerned it is about building the confidence of those who are not yet visiting. We are already getting a great deal of social media about how safe the Garden Centres feels and we we would like more!”

Along with the cartoon, ‘Treat you mask like underwear’ runs a serious message: -

In line with government guidelines we are asking all visitors to wear face coverings. Only those with designated and proven medical conditions will be allowed to enter our garden centres without one.

Please help us to make our premises feel safe for those nervous about venturing out and help us remain open by avoiding a second spike.

Please do not give our people grief, they are just doing what we have asked of them.

Thanks for your help and understanding.
