Supporting families affected by Dementia: LOFA and Dementia UK
Company: LOFA

Each year, LOFA allocates funds to a range of charities that align with our business principles or hold personal importance for our industry and members.
One such organization is Dementia UK.
While you're reading this, someone in the UK will be diagnosed with dementia. It stands as one of the most significant health issues of our era, affecting half of your colleagues and customers at some point—whether through direct diagnosis or by caring for someone who has the condition. Too often, individuals are left to navigate these ongoing and evolving challenges alone.
Dementia UK aims to change that. They specialise in dementia nursing, offering support not just to patients but to entire families. Daily, their 459 specialist nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, provide critical assistance to families nationwide, striving to improve their quality of life for as long as possible. Whether through their Helpline, virtual or in-person clinic appointments, or community services, these nurses offer indispensable support. Their goal is to increase the number of nurses to 500 by the end of 2025.
