Squire’s Donates £6,300 to Greenfingers Charity

Company: Squire’s Garden Centres

Squire’s Garden Centres has donated £6,300 to Greenfingers Charity, raised through carrier bag sales at its 17 centres over the past year.

Greenfingers Charity creates therapeutic gardens for children’s hospices, providing life-limited children and their families with calming, inspiring outdoor spaces.

The donation will help fund projects like the planned garden at Naomi House near Winchester, designed to be accessible and usable year-round for play, therapy, and relaxation.

Sarah Squire, Chairman of Squire’s Garden Centres, said: “It’s incredibly meaningful to know these funds support gardens that offer peace and joy to families during the toughest times.”

Linda Petrons of Greenfingers Charity added: “Squire’s continued generosity helps us reach more families with therapeutic gardens that provide moments of play, care, and comfort.”

The garden at Naomi House is currently in early planning, with hopes to create a space that supports play, physiotherapy, counselling, and seasonal enjoyment for all.
