The Garden Day movement celebrates the benefits of gardens for our health and wellbeing. As lockdown eases, plant-lovers are invited to down tools on Sunday, 9 May, make a flower crown and share their gardens with friends and family over a cup of tea, a bite to eat or a glass or two (respecting government guidelines, of course).

This year, Garden Day is supported by Sue Stuart-Smith, bestselling author of The Well Gardened Mind and the 2021 Garden Day Ambassadors - Rachel de Thame, Lisa Snowdon, Arthur Parkinson and florists Nikki Tibbles and Hazel Gardiner - the NGS and the HTA.

Over 110 garden centres are joining in this by displaying POS and posting on social media including Blue Diamond, Squires and Hillier.
