Greenfingers to relocate Malvern show garden

Company: Greenfingers

Greenfingers Charity will relocate the ‘Lifted by Birds’ show garden from the RHS Malvern Spring Festival to create a permanent therapeutic space at the James Hopkins Trust.

The garden, designed by Tom Saunders, Jon Pilling and Amie Wheeldon, is inspired by British birdlife and designed as a wildlife-friendly, nature-led space.

Following its debut at Malvern, the garden will be dismantled and rebuilt in Gloucester to support children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

The project aims to create a lasting outdoor sanctuary offering comfort, reflection and connection beyond the showground.

Greenfingers said the initiative reflects its commitment to creating meaningful, long-term legacies from show gardens.

The charity has previously relocated gardens from events including BBC Gardeners’ World Live and RHS shows to hospice settings.

Once complete, the garden will provide a sensory, wildlife-rich environment designed to support wellbeing.

Greenfingers has created more than 70 hospice gardens across the UK, helping families spend time together in calming, nature-filled surroundings.
