Greenfingers seeks runners for 2027 London Half

Company: Greenfingers

Greenfingers Charity is calling on supporters to join Team Greenfingers and take part in the 2027 London Landmarks Half Marathon.

The event takes place on Sunday 4 April 2027, with Greenfingers once again an official charity partner. The charity has 10 exclusive places available.

The 13.1-mile closed-road route takes runners through the City of London and City of Westminster, passing some of the capital's best-known landmarks and historic locations.

The charity is encouraging runners of all abilities to take part, whether they are experienced competitors, first-time half marathon runners or simply looking for a new challenge.

Every pound raised will support Greenfingers' work creating therapeutic gardens at children's hospices across the UK.

These specially designed spaces provide children with life-limiting conditions and their families with places to play, explore, relax and spend time together away from clinical environments.

Linda Petrons, Director of Fundraising & Communications at Greenfingers Charity, said the event had become one of the charity's favourite fundraising opportunities and praised the commitment of previous runners.

As part of Team Greenfingers, participants will receive a guaranteed race place, charity running vest, fundraising support and encouragement from the charity team and supporters on race day.

The London Landmarks Half Marathon is the only half marathon held entirely within the City of London and City of Westminster, combining famous landmarks with hidden historical sites.

The event also features live entertainment, themed cheer points and thousands of spectators, creating an atmosphere designed to make the challenge memorable for participants.

With only 10 charity places available, Greenfingers is encouraging interested runners to register their interest early.
