Greenfingers Charity raises £60,000 at Inaugural Floral Ball to mark 25th Anniversary

The Greenfingers Charity proudly announced that its first-ever Floral Ball, held at Coombe Abbey on 26 June 2025, raised an incredible £60,000 to support its work creating therapeutic gardens for children’s hospices across the UK.
The sold-out event welcomed guests with a champagne reception and a surprise performance from the London Show Choir, followed by a three-course dinner in a beautifully decorated marquee. Fundraising highlights included an auction, raffle, and plenty of heartfelt moments shared from Greenfingers’ 25-year journey.
A special moment of the evening came when charity founder Richard Jackson MBE addressed guests, reflecting on the organisation’s growth and impact. His speech marked the legacy and vision that helped transform Greenfingers into a nationally cherished cause.
Guests danced the night away at a silent disco, closing the evening with energy, joy, and a renewed sense of purpose. The atmosphere was filled with generosity and celebration.
Linda Petrons, Director of Fundraising & Communications, thanked all who contributed, saying, “The Floral Ball exceeded all our hopes. Raising £60,000 is a testament to the kindness and support of everyone involved.”
Following its success, the Floral Ball will return to Coombe Abbey on 2 July 2026. For updates and to register interest, visit greenfingerscharity.org.uk or follow @GreenfingersCharity on social media.
