Primary purpose:

Working as part of our growing Wholesale team you will travel the country working closely with our Garden Centre customers to deliver, implement and improve the point-of-sale marketing material to ensure our roses are presented in the best way possible, to enhance sales. Building relationships with our customers and our internal colleagues, you will ensure that any/all sales feedback and insight is fed back to relevant stakeholders to help develop our service and products.

Your day to day:

• Undertaking customer visits to UK Garden Centres and placing point of sale material to enhance displays & maximise Garden Centre sales of David Austin Roses products.
• Maintain and improve brand representation in garden centres.
• Route & travel planning to manage your diary and balance visits with getting the office job done.
• Account relationship management with our customer base.
• Roll outs of Garden Centre Group(s) point of sale merchandising.
• Generate leads for orders and display benching and communicate needs internally to the right teams.
• Maintain the customer database accurately
• Maintain customer data and create maps of customer locations.
• Participate in trials of types of display methods with customers and feedback into team thinking.
• Working with colleagues to maintain point of sale stock levels and availability.
• Working with our Wholesale Account Managers to effect change.
• Reporting on customer activity daily
• Building solid relationships and communicating well with customers to ensure we manage their expectations to deliver what is needed.
• Participate in the setup of trade shows
• Be a brand ambassador
