BBKA Spring Convention

Date: 17th - 19th April 2026
Location: Harper Adams University, Shropshire, TF10 8NB

Now is a good time to plan your visit to the 2026 Convention, which runs Friday 17th – Sunday 19th April, at Harper Adams University in Shropshire, a short distance from the M54.

There are lectures, workshops and seminars every day, with a large Trade Show on Saturday 18th.   Advance tickets (£12 - £33) are available for single days or all three. Accompanied under-18s attend free; with concessions for 18 - 25 year-olds.  Saturday’s Trade Show is included in Saturday and 3-day tickets, or £6 on-the-day ‘Trade Show-only tickets’ include short talks in Speakers Corner and a Honey Tasting Bar.

Please study details of (over 100) lectures, seminars and workshops before booking.  Lectures cannot be booked, but workshops and seminars must be. The limited on-site Dinner, Bed & Breakfast offer and some popular workshops may fill up soon after bookings open. We suggest completing any accommodation booking first, before workshops, seminars, dinners or wristband tickets.  If on-site accommodation is full, camping may be booked or there are hotel and B&B options within a few miles, which you might choose to arrange before Convention bookings open.

The on-line programme includes speaker biographies, lecture, workshop and seminar summaries, and indications of beekeeping knowledge appropriate to each – from ‘All’ (including non-beekeepers) to ‘Senior’.  Using daily tables on the final programme pages helps to avoid booking overlapping events.  If your plans change, please cancel any workshop or seminar that you can’t attend. ‘No-shows without cancellation’ are frustrating for everyone, particularly other participants who would have liked to enjoy that presentation.
